Migrants from Afghanistan and Pakistan who camped out on Serbia's border with Croatia last night tried to break through the makeshift fence erected by Serbian police at around 2pm, regional N1 television network reported.
The migrants then tried to enter Croatia by crossing through a field, but were stopped by Serbian police
Chairman of the Kosovo Assembly Kadri Veseli said that his office has sent a letter to the higher
institutions of Montenegro, requesting for them to ask the EU to scrap border demarcation as a condition for EU accession negotiations to be opened.
"We have formally requested them [Montenegro] to say that Kosovo does not have any problem with
Montenegro," Veseli said after a meeting of the Presidency on Monday.
He added that the issue of border demarcation with Montenegro has been going on for too long and is
damaging to Kosovo and its citizens.
